The North West’s hottest Pro/Am Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event, Full Contact Contender (FCC), is proud to confirm the final card for FCC 11: Loughnane vs Maclean, including the return of Bellator and Ultimate Fighter veteran Martin Stapleton.

The previously announced lightweight title fight between Brendan Loughnane and Ali Maclean – along with Stapleton’s return – will top a bill of six professional bouts, five UAR amateur title fights and a full UAR undercard.

Martin Stapleton returns to FCC for the third time, following a stint in Bellator MMA against a series of top level international opposition. ’50.Cal’ last appeared on an FCC card at FCC 10, taking a spectacular submission victory over tough Bulgarian Stanislav Enchev. At FCC 11, Enchev’s countryman Kostadin Enev (6-3, 3-3 Sherdog) will look to avenge that defeat as he makes the trip from Bulgaria to Bolton to reclaim some national pride. A grappler by trade, the durable lightweight has only been stopped once in nine professional bouts. Stapleton will look to continue his clean sheet at FCC, having notched a pair of submission wins in previous outings.

Promoter Adam Teh said, “It’s great to have ‘Stapes’ back on FCC, especially so soon after his latest fight on Bellator. Things didn’t go his way in America but like the true warrior he is, Martin was keen to get right back into the thick of it and continue his unbeaten run on FCC. There’s a bit of national pride at stake for the Enev and the Bulgarians here; I’m sure ‘Stapes’ face is on a few dartboard back home!”

FCC fan favourite Kane ‘The Danger’ Mousah also return to the FCC cage, looking for his fourth straight win under the promotional banner. Looking to be the first man to take Mousah out of the first round on an FCC card is Hayden Critchfield (9-5). The Team Crossface fighter has never been stopped with strikes, while Mousah is yet to submit an opponent.

Also added to the bill is a bantamweight contest between domestic veteran Dec Williams (9-8-3) and another experienced Bulgarian, Veselin Ivanov (13-8, 7-8 Sherdog). Williams will be looking to add to his 8 career (T)KO’s, which could be a tall order against Veselin, who has not been stopped by strikes in 21 contests.

Flyweight Aaron Aby (3-1) returns to FCC action following his emphatic defeat of Scott Gregory at FCC 10. Aby faces Danny Missin (4-3), who will look to get back to winning ways after a recent unsuccessful BAMMA match up against former FCC amateur flyweight champion Mike Berry.

Noted amateur talent Harry Marple makes his professional debut at lightweight against Blackburn Predators Jacob Szymanski.

In amateur action, in addition to the four previously announced amateur title bouts, amateur flyweight champion Ashley ‘The Beast’ Reece returns to defend his title against 10-1 Kaobon prospect Anthony O’Connor.

Adam Teh said, “After every FCC show we ask ourselves one question ‘How do we top this next time’? Looking at the card for FCC 11, I’m confident in saying that on paper, it’s arguably our strongest to date. Loughnane, Maclean and Stapleton are top-notch domestic talents, we’ve flown in some notoriously tough Europeans and the likes of Aby, Missin, Mousah, Marple and co represent the foundations of the current UK scene. Add to that our absolutely stellar line up of amateur title fights, and FCC is the best value ticket in town.”

FCC 11 takes place in the Premier Suite at the Macron (Reebok) Stadium in Bolton, Greater Manchester on October 18th, 2014.
