ICE FC 4 takes place on Saturday 8th November in Manchester and the latest addition to the card see’s a light heavyweight professional match up added.
Originally due to fight at ICE FC 3, Andrew Clamp and Pobby Bennett will finally square off.
Clamp made his professional debut on the ICE FC 3 show when he powered through Jordan Thompson in just 37 seconds, grabbing the TKO victory.
After a very successful amateur career, which saw him win the FCC Light Heavyweight Championship, Clamp is looking forward to making his mark on the professional scene.
He trains under the tutelage of Tom Blackledge at Blackledge MMA, where he has some of the country’s best helping him on a daily basis and he will be looking to put another dominating performance on the 8th November.
His opponent Pobby Bennett unfortunately had to pull out injured from ICE FC 3, but will step into the cage with more professional experience than his opponent.
Bennett has competed twice this year. Firstly I saw him compete in the main event of Rage in the Cage 4 when he came up against the Spartan Brett McDermott and was defeated via TKO in round one.
He also took to the cage at Force MMA in June when he was again the main event, opposite Ryan Hewton, and was defeated via KO in the first round.
Don’t write off Bennett just yet as he will be looking to end his year on a high and with him stepping into Clamp’s backyard you know he will be doing all he can to silence the crowd.
