ICE FC are hosting their fourth installment, on Saturday 8th November 2014, and are aiming to end the year with a bang, and with the two additions to the show which have been announced in the last 24 hours, it is easy to see why.

Firstly added is an amateur welterweight contest between Jonny Mann and Leon Clarke.

Clarke was involved in one of the fights of 2014, at ICE FC 2, when he took Dean Gaskell and neither held back, standing toe-to-toe and both showing a tremendous amount of heart and skill.  Unfortunately for Clarke he was defeated by Gaskell but it was a fight in which he took a lot from and bounced back at ICE FC 3 when he defeated Mike Bidgood in the first round, via TKO.

Training with one of the best gyms in the UK, at Full Contact Performance Centre, Leon always comes to fight and fans are never disappointed when he takes to the cage.

His opponent Jonny Mann also comes from an excellent gym in Daywalkers, where he trains with some of the UK’s best professional and amateur competitors on a daily basis.

Mann is the former FCC welterweight champion, which he won on their fourth show, and is also never involved in a boring fight. Whether a fight stays on the feet or goes to the ground, Mann is always prepared and he will be looking to get the win over a tough opponent.

The second fight added will take place on the professional card as Luke Taylor and Kris Bircher square off.

Taylor trains out of Daywalkers MMA and will be making his professional debut on the night. Having fought on some top shows as an amateur, including FCC, UCC and MCR FC, Taylor will look to start life as a professional in a positive manner.

His last amateur fight came at Rage in the Cage 4 when he defeated Ben Lister, via TKO, after two rounds, due to Lister not being able to continue. Taylor utilised his powerful wrestling and strength on the ground to wear down his opponent and land some great ground and pound throughout this match up.

ICE FC fans will also remember Luke on the second show, when he over powered his opponent in 12 seconds.

His debut comes against Kris Bircher who has experience in the pro ranks already and is the newly crowned PFC champion.

Bircher has also taken on some tough names in the world of MMA. As an amateur he fought top Amateur prospect Tom Aspinall and recently fought Adam Parkes.

All these are experiences which will help Bircher as a competitor and he will be ready for Taylor on the 8th, and look to cause an upset on his opponent’s pro debut.
